Client Lancashire Learning Disability Consortium Brief To produce a 15 minute film to encourage people to consider a career in supporting people with learning difficulties in Lancashire.
We were also asked to produce
a shorter version of the film to be used and shown at events and meetings. Click the logo to see the shorter promotional film (opens new Windows media window) Film Production Filming took place over a 2 month period - capturing many aspects of care delivered by three different care providers working together to produce the film. All 3 organisations took an active part in the planning of the film and set up a group of carers and service users to plan the film and produce supporting printed information to accompany the DVD. All the footage was of carers and service users with 2 carers and one service user doing the voice-over for the film. Also role plays were carried out - an example of this was Robert (service user) interviewing Richard (his carer). Outcome The film was launched in April 2008 after a consultation viewing with 120 people from the Blackpool area. |
