Step Forward & Extra Care These two separate films were produced for Salford Social Services. Step Forward was produced to show a residential service for four adults with learning difficulties aiming towards more independent living. The Extra Care film shows four elderly tenants with a learning difficulty receiving Extra Care support in a sheltered housing scheme for older people. The Railway Benefit Fund This film shows what the Railway Benefit Fund does and why it does it through the stories of 3 recent beneficiaries of the fund, all of them connected to the railway industry in some way. The film is narrated by Richard Wilson and explains the history of the fund, why it was set up and why the fund needs more money today to enable it to continue the work it has been doing for over 150 years. Foster Films We completed our fifth batch of films for Durham County Council's Fostering Department showing several 'hard to place' children to be shown at their family recruitment events. We also completed an information film showing five foster carers explaining, in their own words, the process they went through as part of their selection, induction and ongoing training processes. We also took extracts of this film to produce a shorter promotion film to be shown to encourage more families to think about becoming foster carers in Durham. We have also produced a 90 second TV style advert creating an emotive message to prompt people to think about foster caring and find out more about it. Editing Suite Hire Our editing suite is available to hire, with support, on a daily basis. The Apple incorporates Final Cut Pro, LiveType, SoundTrack Pro and DVD Studio Pro. We can download from mini DVD tapes or reformat DVDs into files we can work with in Final Cut.
