Client Creative Support Brief To produce films to communicate key policies to service users and tenants with learning difficulties and mental ill health. The films to have a corporate style which work together with printed versions of the same policies e.g. health & safety, making complaints, POVA. Film Production Filming takes place after the printed versions have been developed in consultation with service user groups. The hard copy polices then form the 'story-board' for the films. Service Users and carers plan and act out the scenes to be included in the film. The final film has uses the same text as in the printed version, this text is narrated. the film also montages some of the pictures used in the printed version so there is an ongoing cross reference between the printed and film versions. Outcome The films are widely distributed to all projects and services. Feedback shows that the films are affective and successful and service users are benefiting and using them for reference as and when they need to. |
