OUR 2009 DVD PROJECTS NWAS – North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust A short 8 minute piece to camera from one of their Directors – Paul Kudray, Assistant Director for Emergency Preparedness. We filmed Paul, using an autocue, introducing and explaining a newly developed piece of computer software to be used throughout the North West as part of the Trust’s Business Continuity Management programme. The footage is going to be integrated into the software and used on their website as a podcast download. Chepping View Primary School – High Wycombe We filmed two days of drama classes to years 2 and 3 as part of a funded programme that introduced the children to the seaside through a pirate theme. The programme then takes the children to the seaside, some of them for the first time. The school wanted a diary film of the sessions to send to the parents. We also took photographs of the sessions and one of the photos was then turned into a postcard that the children sent back to their parents from the seaside. We trained a parent and a teacher throughout our time at the school in how to get better results from using a camcorder. Walsall LDPB – Learning Disability Partnership Board We made a short film showing the activities at an open day organised by the LDPB. The film shows workshops, information stands, interactive consultation and a performance by ‘Moveable feast Arts’ around ‘In Control’. The film will be used as a diary for the day and to promote net year’s event. RBF – The Railway Benefit Fund Now featuring Richard Wilson, doing the voice-over, we have now produced an 11 minute information film, a 5 minute promotional film and 3 short extracts of the each case study to be used on their website. Durham County Council Fostering Team Foster Children We continue to produce DVDs for Durham about their ‘hard to place’ children. Our last filming session included 6 different sets of children, all with differing circumstances. Foster Carers Information DVD We produced a short 15 minute DVD featuring 4 different foster carers explaining why they foster to be used at foster family recruitment events. Foster Carers Promotional Advert We have produced a 90 second TV advert for Durham showing 3 different foster carers saying why they do what they do. CURRENT DVD PROJECTS IAS A care provider based in and around Manchester. A film to promote and inform people about their services. STEPS A small national charity supporting children and adults affected by a lower limb condition such as clubfoot or a hip condition. We are producing a series of about 25 short information films showing how to care for children (‘babies, toddlers’ and ‘the older child’) who have the Hip Spica condition. We have secured the support of Danielle Brown (Mel B’s sister) who starred in Emmerdale Farm to do the voice over for the films. NWMS – North West Mentoring Scheme We’ll be filming their 2009 Annual Conference and then putting together a promotional piece to include one of their training events, their re-launch in 2008 and this year’s annual conference to show on their website.
