Client STEPS Charity Worldwide Brief To produce a series of videos for parents wanting comprehensive information about how to care for a child in a Hips Spica Film Production Filming has taken place over several months by visiting various families of babies, toddlers and older children who are all in Hips Spicas. We have filmed the parents carrying out many tasks in the care and support if their children e.g. nappy changing, lifting and carrying, feeding, looking after the plaster cast etc,. The parents have given their own running commentary or given their thoughts and feelings straight to camera. Post Production We are now finalising some 38 videos split into two categories – Babies & Toddlers and Older Children. 1st cut edits of all the films have been distributed to a number of participating families and health care professionals for them to review the videos and pass their thoughts and comments back to STEPS to include ion the final edits.
We are now entering the final stages of the editing process with the aim of launching the films at an event in early May 2010. The final videos will be available on DVD and accessed on YouTube. Event Trailer Video
